Elizabeth Gomoll: Flute
Elizabeth Gomoll started attending Minneapolis Pops concerts as a child and thought the musicians on stage were miraculous people to make such inspiring music. As a young flute student, her teacher was one of those people, but Liz could only dream that she would be on that stage one day herself! She earned her music degree at St. Olaf College and the University of Minnesota. In addition to the Minneapolis Pops, she has been a member of the Rochester Symphony Orchestra since 1986. She is an avid genealogist, raises orchids, and flies a 1928 open cockpit biplane with her husband, Roger.
